About me, and about this siteMy name is Nick Usborne and I have been earning my living as a copywriter for a shade over 25 years. For over 20 of those years I have been working for myself, as a freelance writer. Until 1997 I worked as a direct marketing copywriter, and have 15 awards in a cabinet somewhere to prove it. Since then I have been working online, as an online copywriter, consultant and speaker. Along the way I have also written a few hundred articles and a book, Net Words. The purpose of this site? To provide freelance writers with easy access to quality articles and resources to help build their careers. My job is to keep my eye on the 'quality'. I select only useful and helpful articles from people who have a significant track record when it comes to freelance writing. As for the resources I review and recommend, I pick one in about fifty of the courses, subscription services, reports and books I come across.
